Amazing place! Delicious sushi and sashimi, the rolls are pretty big, and a friendly and fast service. The prices are very convenient. Definitely 5 stars.
Small space, they only take cash and debit. It is inconvenient.
The worst sushi rolls I've ever had! Too much rice, too much cucumbers, the cuts were not too perfect, rolls were falling apart. And omg the Alaska roll was too huge that no one could eat it in one go! The overal experience was very poor. If I want to be fair I should say that the ingredient was fresh though and that's why I give it 2stars instead of 1. The shrimp tempura was really really bad too! Very oily, tick coating with a tiny piece of shrimp inside:((
Great sushi. Great big pieces of sashimi. Good yam roll. Ginger wasn't the best but wasabi had a kick.Only downside was they didn't take credit card and that wasn't obvious on their menu or site.
You get a good bang for your buck at this place. The fish was fresh and the portions are large. We ordered more than expected so we took the Philadelphia roll home to enjoy.
I ordered take out and found this thing that is like fur or wool we normally use in clothing. The last time I went to eat here was half a year ago and found the same thing appear in my other dish as well. Decided to give it another try today but won’t return anymore.
AVOID this restaurant! I literally made an account to write this review. I ordered one of the special rolls and I could not eat it past one bite. They refused to take the order back and yelled at me that it is my fault that I ordered it. They didn't apologize at all. I've never had a worse customer service experience or food.
Very big portions. Good quality ingredients. Affordable price.
Nice to be able to sit down & eat items fresh outta the kitchen.. take away is fine but yakisoba has Gotta be HOT!! & sushi & sashimi needs to just right.. and it was 😋😋😋 YUMMERZ!!
It’s been a few years since we last ate at this place. This was our goto sushi place for years but when we moved it became a bit far to go. Recently we were in the neighbourhood and decided to try it again. We were pleasantly surprised that it was still as good as we remembered. Sushi portion size is huge especially compared to the price. One piece of sushi would equal two pieces elsewhere. Rolls are of a good size as well. The box sets are pretty good value but remember they are a $1 higher at dinner time. Will definitely make an effort to come eat here again.
It isn't the best sushi place but the price is incredibly affordable considering the amount you get. When they say that they have the biggest rolls, they don't lie about it. The rice can get a little dense probably because of the size so if you're famished this would be a good choice.Overall the experience is good. Not great. Not bad. Good.
DEFINITELY BIGGEST SUSHI IN TOWN!Never disappointed with the food and service here. Good value for the price. The House & Futomaki Rolls are huge. 😳😳
The prices are very good and you get lots of food for your money, but the ratio of rice to fish is not great. There is so much rice on nigiri that I ended up cutting the rice in half for each piece which of course made them fall apart. I couldn't fit a whole piece in my mouth and would much rather pay the same price for nigiri with half as much rice. Otherwise everything was good, service was a bit cold initially but she became more friendly as I ordered.
Great, little sushi restaurant for eat-in or take-out. The portions are very generous - you'll likely have some leftover for your next meal. They have a good selection to choose from and would be good to order for parties. They are efficient and friendly as well. Just keep in mind, they only accept debit or cash.
We have never gone anywhere else "sushi "since going here, they are super friendly and very helpful always. when seating my MIL who has a service dog and scooter they are helpful and accommodating even though the place is tiny. after months and years of not going ( we moved across town) they ask how my parents are doing, how the kids are, and they sometimes recognize me by phone and remember what I like to order which is nice. One of my favorite places to go for food in all of vancouver
I’m surprised at the amount of people saying this is a good quality sushi... not tasty in the least bit. Lots of Chinese flavours and the tuna and salmon quality is gross... $31 for 39 pieces of sushi is a rip off. FREE TIP: If the place is not served by Japanese folk, stay away.
